Dr. Sancilio is a serial entrepreneur in the healthcare feld and is currenty a prnciple of Cleanway Global, Inc., a pharmaceutical development advisory service. He has served as an executive and director of both private and public companies, including Applied Analytical Industries Inc., aaiPharma, Inc., Endeavor Pharmaceutical Company, Aesgen, Inc., Sancilio & Company, Alpha Cognition, Inc., TrippBio, Inc., Omega Blu, LLC, and Nation’s Bank of North Carolina. He was appointed as a Research Professor at Florida Atlantic University and was an adjunct professor of chemistry at the University of North Carolina. Dr. Sancilo received his Master of Science and Doctorate degrees from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey.
After earning his M.D. from the University of Illinois in 1972, Dr. Harry Jacobson completed his internal medicine residency at Johns Hopkins and nephrology training in Dallas. He joined Vanderbilt in 1985 as a Professor and Director of Nephrology, later becoming Vice Chancellor for Health Affairs and CEO of Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
During Dr. Harry Jacobson’s 12-year tenure as Vice Chancellor for Health Affairs, VUMC’s budget grew from $750M to $2.5B, with Vanderbilt’s research ranking rising to the top 10 nationally. He helped establish the Health Care MBA at Vanderbilt and later led MedCare Investment Funds, overseeing $600M in investments. He now works with W.P. Global Partners to manage a portfolio of health care companies.
Dr. Harry Jacobson has founded or co-founded multiple companies, including Contact Software and Renal Care Group. He has served on the boards of major companies like Merck and Renal Care Group. A successful investor and entrepreneur, Dr. Jacobson was named Ernst & Young Southeast Entrepreneur of the Year in 2002 and elected to the Tennessee Healthcare Hall of Fame in 2017. He has published over 100 research works and co-authored Begin Again Now, the Path to Fixing Health Care.
Mr. Ramjeet is the founder and CEO of PPMT Strategic Group, a New York-based management consulting firm, since 2009. Prior to this, Mr. Ramjeet has been the Managing Partner of Profit Planners, Inc., a private New York consulting company since 2003. Mr. Ramjeet is also the Founder and Chairman of MD Logic Health, a nutritional supplement company.
Mr. Ramjeet is also the Chairman of SNN, Inc., a financial media company that covers the microcap marketplace. Before founding Profit Planners, Inc., Mr. Ramjeet was the Chief Financial Officer of Youth Stream Media, Inc., a NASDAQ-traded public company. Mr. Ramjeet began his career in the Entrepreneurial Services Group at Ernst & Young, LLP. During his nine years at Ernst & Young, Mr. Ramjeet served private and publicly traded companies in the Biotech, Technology, and Media industries. Mr. Ramjeet received his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from St. John’s University and is a CPA. He is also the Co-Founder of Lions Unleashed, a not-for-profit that provides financial support, mentorship, sports equipment, and school supplies to immigrants and minority youth
Ilan has played a pivotal role in the General Management of healthcare businesses including a private cosmetic surgery chain and the commercialisation of a breakthrough skincare range. He successfully led the development of these products from concept through to production commercialisation. Most recently Ilan oversaw a group of national medical centers. His career into operations management was triggered by his valuable experience as part of the Risk and Controls Solutions practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). Specifically, Ilan’s passion is assisting the medical fraternity in their practice management and business administration functions. Ilan’s ambition is to work in a role that utilises his analysis expertise enriched by his exposure to the commercial side of business. Ilan has a passion for assisting community organisations and sits on several boards of not for profit organisations. He also holds Bronze and Silver Duke of Edinburgh awards and brings along a unique set of community and industry related experience.
Rick has demonstrated success in a wide variety of executive roles during his 25+ year in biosciences. Rick has managed businesses in the US and globally in a variety of executive leadership roles. He has served as an executive of both private and public companies including with Vifor Pharma, Aspreva Pharmaceuticals, Merck, Parke-Davis, and Warner-Lambert. He currently serves as a Director of the Childhood Arthritis and Rheumatology Research Alliance (CARRA). Rick earned his MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania with a dual concentration in entrepreneurial management and marketing. He was a dual major in finance and accounting at the University of Vermont.
